Minister Kristin Kelly is an educator, public theologian, and advocate dedicated to equity and empowerment. With over a decade of experience in public schools, higher education, and religious communities, she champions emancipatory pedagogy and works tirelessly to inspire transformative learning and spiritual growth.


Minister Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, she was awarded a Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville, Tennessee, where she focused on Womanist Theology and Ethics Through the Lens of Hip-hop Culture. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.


Minister Kelly’s commitment extends beyond the classroom and pulpit. At Olive Branch Community Church, she is a dedicated member of the African American History and Culture Ministry, where she helps preserve and celebrate vital cultural narratives. Minister Kelly is also an active participant in the Media Ministry, leveraging her skills to amplify voices and share the message of hope.


Grounded in her faith, Minister Kristin Kelly promotes a liberating interpretation of the Gospel, emphasizing Jesus’s role as a liberator and the Gospel’s enduring message of freedom.
